Chisomo Kazisonga excels in Austria

Malawi National Women’s Football Team captain, Chisomo Kazisonga’s debut season in Austria women’s football league has proved to be a success.

Whether playing either in defence or wings for the reserve side of giants, SV Neulengbach, Kazisonga (right) has weighed in her performances with goals. She has scored eight.

With the league winding up next month, Neulengbach are fourth on the standings with 43 points from 18 games.

“Outside football, I thank God that I am really progressing with my studies though it’s not easy,” said Kazisonga, who is studying sports science at Vienna University.
