Kansiime’s show at College of Medicine in Blantyre on November 4 is the first in the city but this is her third time in the country having had routines twice in Lilongwe.

MultiChoice Malawi held what it labelled a Business Unusual event at Atmosphere Grill and Lounge in Blantyre where it also announced the price reduction on DStv Premium by nine percent, Compact Pus 15 percent, Compact by seven percent and Family by 24 percent.

Nyirenda said the DStv price reduction was a revolution for television lovers adding that customers should also look out for a massive content upgrade on DStv packages effective November 1.

The move also comes a time as many customers have been complaining as of the massive blackouts in the country.

Some have said they need pay per view with the blackouts as they were feeling the pain with subscription.

Nyirenda said the significant price drop coupled with the major boost in entertainment value across all DStv bouquets demonstrates their commitment to ensure their customers receive the best possible access to great entertainment and outstanding value.

During the event which attracted the presence of journalists from different media houses, Nyirenda said Kansiime will share the stage with fellow Ugandan acts Teacher Mpamire and Cotilda Inapo.

He said this was a chance for people in Blantyre to watch the DStv Ambassador live having only had performances in Lilongwe.

The entry fee for the show which is being managed by Impala, a communication and marketing agency led by Petros Mazunda, will is K15,000 for silver tickets and K25,000 for gold tickets.

The show also saw the presence of musician Faith Mussa, who showed his musical handiness through his one-man set.

“I would like to thank MultiChoice for bringing to spice up this event. This is what we need as artists. We need to be utilised in different events. There is more to come from me,” Faith said.
