The advance data bundles come with bonuses ranging from five to 15 percent.
TNM’s Chief Officer for Enterprise Services, Vishwajeet Deshmukh, said the new innovation is part of the company’s efforts to address mobile internet challenges among users.
Vishwajeet said TNM is also working to triple its network capacity within the next few months.
“Currently, we have 25 centres in Lilongwe, Blantyre and Zomba. We are adding additional 50 sites. That means tripling the total capacity. This is in line with what we are expecting from the market because there is a need for an update,” he said.
Commenting on the new data bundles, Vishwajeet said the bundles are designed to suit the LTE/4G internet platform and offers several key benefits to the end user.
“The longterm validity enables the client to plan their spending without having to worry about price fluctuations due to inflation. It also eliminates the inconvenience of data running out before a billing cycle ends as well as the hassles of frequent data buying and loading,” he said.
He added that the new service also provides customers with options of roll-over feature, which enables users to carry over left over data depending on the amount purchased and addresses customer concerns of data expiring before it has been used.
