Kukoma Diamonds shooter Grace Chazungulira, who was earning regular call ups in recent times, is a notable exclusion from squad.

However, the coach has maintained seasoned players including Jane Chimaliro, Towera Vinkhumbo-Nyirenda,

Caroline Mtukule-Ngwira, Sindie Simtowe-Msowoya, Joanna Kachilika and Grace Mwafulirwa-Mhango. Netball Association of Malawi (Nam) General Secretary, Carol Bapu, said they expect the coach to continue working on the Queens revival.

“As you saw at the World Cup, we moved back to position six and improved on the world netball rankings, moving from ninth to seventh place. We want to continue with this trend to reclaim our glory and set new records. We feel that the forthcoming continental championship gives her the right platform to continue on this path,” she said.
