20 year old girl in need of support for treatment

A 20 year old girl with albinism Memory Juma is looking for assistance from well-wishers to access cancer treatment abroad.

According to Memory’s elder sister Carol, the patient was diagonised cancer lately her condition has worsened after she went through an operation at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.

‘’My sister has been suffering from cancer for a long time and being orphans we are struggling to take good care of her. She has a wound on the neck which doctors at the hospital say need attention abroad because they cannot do it,’’ she said.

Carol added that meanwhile Memory is in great pains and she is losing blood time and again as well as failing to produce audible sound.

“We are therefore appealing to all Malawians to help us so that Memory can be able to access treatment in UK or South Africa,’’ Carol said.

According to Carol, Memory needs about 3.5 million kwacha for the trip.

Covered with a wrapper around her neck, Memory looked troubled as she gasps heavily. Memory comes from Mpemba in Blantyre.
