2016’s busy artists

They say music ought to be taken as a career if one is to succeed in the industry.

Consequently, those who have made a name in the industry are always on high demand, and can sometimes perform at more than two shows per day or appear on more than two posters.

Take, for instance, Lulu, an established artist who does not cease to mesmerise fans with love songs.

Just last month, he performed at two shows in one night: one in Lilongwe and another in Blantyre.

In Lilongwe, he performed at a beauty pageant in the evening and, after the show, left Lilongwe at 09:20 pm for Blantyre. He was on stage by 12: 38 am, and performed to an audience at Mibawa Multi-Purpose Hall in Limbe”.

On the other side of the coin is Soldier Lucius Banda, who is one of the highly sought after artists in the country.

On December 23 last year, for example, Banda had a line up of shows across the country not to mention several other artists such as Lulu, Stevie Wazisomo Muliya and Nepman.

The question is: Who will be 2017’s busiest artists?
