Arts Sustainability Lab has called on theatre fans in the country to be patronising theatre shows and appreciating the talents on the ground.
Arts Sustainability Lab staged their first production recently titled Leaders at Crossroads at Jacaranda Cultural Centre (JCC) in Blantyre where they shared the stage with Young Travellers Theatre, which served a play titled Fisi.
“What we want right now is support. There is so much that we want to offer as regards theatre. So, theatre is not dead,” one of the group’s members Jack Musumba said.
During the show, Arts Sustainability Lab and Young Travellers Theatre won the hearts of people with their productions.
Young Travellers Theatre has been there holding performances and has also expanded its base by producing films.
