A press statement from Malawi National Spelling Bee says Scripps National Spelling Bee has pledged an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington DC for the senior winner.

“The African Spelling Bee senior champion will have a chance, while in USA, to attend the Scripps National Spelling Bee finals as guest,” the statement reads.
