Having enjoyed some partnerships with two other companies in the past in MultiChoice Malawi and Ecobank, musician Patience Namadingo has entered into another partnership with Afrimax Limited.
Afrimax, a licensed internet service provider and Namadingo unveiled the partnership on Friday at Ryalls Hotel in Blantyre.
Kamar Abass, Afrimax Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, said the company was excited to partner Namadingo, who through the deal is expected to promote and expand awareness of the company’s brand to his audience.
Abass said like Afrimax, Namadingo believes in the power of broadband communications to empower and transform lives.
“So, as he goes about his music, Patience will strive to promote Afrimax’s commitment to inclusiveness and sustainability across all segments of Malawi society,” Abass said.
He said the partnership will among others, be visible across Namadingo’s social media pages where the musician will highlight the features and benefits of Afrimax’s unique unlimited high speed internet data proposition.
“As a company, Afrimax is a challenger in data communication providing mobile and fixed broadband services on 4G/LTE technology in Malawi,” he said.
Abass said Afrimax believes in a present and a future that includes everyone and that they were working hard to build it.
“We are a broadband communication company responsible for connecting people and organisations of all sizes to the digital society. We are optimistic about how technology and connectivity can enhance the future and improve people’s live,” he said.
Abass said they were relatively new in the country but were gradually growing in awareness and that working with Namadingo was an opportunity for them to be known to people and Namadingo’s fans.
“We are in Blantyre at the moment but we are expanding to other cities and in Lilongwe we should be there by next. Internet is crucial as far as development is concerned,” he said.
Abass also said despite the internet being expensive in the country, Afrimax has cheaper packages to give people better value.
The partnership with Namadingo will see Afrimax provide high speed internet data at Namadingo’s live concert to be held later this month where the musician is expected to launch his new album ‘Ya Symon’.
Namadingo said the partnership meant growth not only to him but the music industry.
“This is a job to me and so, with the experience I have, I will make sure I do well. For your information, my home network is Africamx,” he said.
