Agape love

Agape means the usual love of a person without any evil intent or malice. It is the general love found in the heart of a person who loves.

In the Bible, Agape is the unconditional love, which describes the love of God.

God loved you before He saved you. His Agape love swallowed all our Adamic sin nature. God never loved us because we were Holy, no. He loved us while we were still sinners.

God took you away from your Adamic sin nature and freely broke it in Christ in you. He washed you by the sacrificial blood of His dear Son, made you clean and adopted you as His very own.

He never judged you but loved to win you back to Himself in Agape way. You are now saved from the judgement of God to be given to the world soon..

‘But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.’ –Romans 5:8-9 NKJV.

It is the manifestation of Agape that God did send us His only Son to become sin for us to kill that sin nature. Nobody sent application to God to bring the Saviour but out of Agape, He did it. Today you are born of God. What an amazing God who loves His very creation without limit and unconditionally!

‘In this, the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.’– I John 4:9-10 NKJV

That is why God has put love as the ultimate law in the eternal world. Once you attain this Agape love you become a serious adopted member of Paradise living with God eternally. But remember Agape has no condition at all. Do you have it?

God wants His unconditional love upon you to flow also unconditionally to others.

‘Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.’ — I John 4:11 NKJV.

Let us now go back to the four kinds of Love commanded from the Lord God.

How many kinds of love do we find in the Bible that describes Agape, the unconditional love of God?

We have 1. The love of God, 2. The love of neighbour. 3. The love of you and 4. The love of the enemy.

The love of the enemy is what proves in you that you indeed have the Agape, unconditional love. Are you able to love the enemy, the one who hates you? The one who dislikes you? Do you have peace before the one who abused you?

Do you remember the past painful experiences and hate those who brought that to you?

If you fail to forgive and forget, you hate your torturers and those who hate you, you have no love yet.

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust…. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?…And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? — Matthew 5:43-48 NKJV.

Remember an enemy is your God gift!

Prayer:

Oh God, my Loving Abba, Father, grant me your unconditional love. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Love, Seek and Save Souls. Blessings!
