Agnes Nkhata dates Lilongwe
Agnes, who is daughter to legendary musician Bright Nkhata, is back in action as she dates music lovers at The Cockpit in Lilongwe Friday.
Queen Agnes, as she is fondly called, is part of the ‘Valentines Stoplight Party’ and will share the stage with The Soul Selektress and resident DJs VJ Ice, Flex and Crystal.
The ‘Valentines Stoplight Party’ is part of preparations for Valentine’s Day, which falls on February 14.
Patrons will wear colours that reflect their relationship status, with the colour red representing those who are taken, green standing for those who are single while yellow will serve as a sign that the relationship status is “complicated”.
It is not the first time for Agnes to date The Cockpit, as she has performed there once.
Agnes said in a recent interview that she is working on revamping Makasu Band, a band her father used to perform with.
But the DJ, who recently returned from the Unites States of America, said the band would be using up-and-coming artists.
