AHL Sacco on Friday donated teaching materials and other assorted items said to be worth K1.5 million to special needs learners at Lilongwe Demonstration School.
AHL Sacco president, Martin Sabola said the donation which is part of festive season celebration, is to help address some of the challenges the school is facing.
“We will continue with the donations because it is our tradition and we have to maintain it. We have seen the need here and we will see other areas that we may ably help,” Sabola said.
The items include blackboards, sanitation materials and food stuff.
Sabola said AHL Sacco’s end year profit projections are pegged at K100 million with net asset seen at K1.3 billion.
Lilongwe Demonstration School Head Teacher, Caroline Chiwayula Majiga hailed the firm for the support
