Airtel golf tees off
The inaugural Airtel Golf Tournament is set to take place at Limbe Country Club in Blantyre from today to Saturday.
In a statement, Airtel Director of Enterprise Business, Rachel Mijiga, said the tournament would tee off at 11:30 am Friday.
The tournament continues tomorrow from 5:30am on an individual stableford format with 175 golfers expected to be in action.
“We had initially planned to host 96 golfers on Saturday, but we have had to revise it to start from Friday to accommodate more golfers. As hosts of our first tournament this year, the overwhelming support that we have received from golfers has been amazing and we couldn’t be more excited to engage and network with our clients this weekend,” Mijiga said.
Each golfer is expected to receive various branded Airtel items and the winners will walk away with golfing paraphernalia as prizes.
