Airtel Malawi Marketing Director Thokozani Sande said, currently, local media providers Times TV, Zodiak TV and HD Plus with their Fatsani movie have their channels and content on the app, enabling Malawians to access news, programmes and movies on the platform.

She said Airtel TV is available to download on the Apple iOS store and Google Playstore for android and is also already embedded on the Airtel mobile App.

“In addition to offering an extensive selection of local, Bollywood and Nollywood content for starters, Airtel TV comes with a range of features that will enhance your viewing experience.

“You can create your personalised watchlist, switch streaming resolution options according to your data plan, and even share videos with friends and family,” Sande said.

HD Plus Creations Marketing Manager Alex Kachepa said the app will uplift the entertainment industry in the country.

He said with the app, there is going to be more content that people can watch.

“We are happy to be part of this partnership and we believe Malawians will be able to watch movies like Fatsani and many other local movies.

“With the app we will be able to reach a wide range of followers with content,” Kachepa said.
