Airtel Malawi on Friday unveiled a new one-stop-for-all shop in Blantyre’s Chayamba Building.
Airtel Head of Market Operations Ted Chanza said his firm decided to open the shop to reduce the challenges Airtel customers in Blantyre’s were facing to access the company’s services.
Prior to the opening of the shop, Airtel customers had to travel to Chichiri Shopping Mall or Limbe to access Airtel services.
“We would like to be part and parcel of the pride of the city of Blantyre in seeing city residents enjoy convenience when it comes to accessing vital telecommunications services.
“Airtel has invested in enhancing the customer’s experience in our shops as we believe that a satisfied customer is key to a successful brand,” said Chanza.
The Chayamba Xpress shop is the third one to be inaugurated by Airtel Malawi in 2016 after Mchinji and Nchalo.
The shop brings the total number of Airtel Xpress shops in the country to 19.
“It is because of our customers that we are continuing with this expansion and convenience drive. New shops like these also provide new working opportunities for our people which will help to improve their families’ living conditions.
“As a people centred brand, we shall continue reaching out to our customers far and wide as our quest is to refine and redefine convenience by being a step away from the people we serve,” said Chanza.
