Coordinator of French activities and Director of French Studies at Maison de la France Poya Chapweteka said Thursday they were excited to hold the grand finals for storytelling and singing contests in Mzuzu for the first time.

“Bringing together all the three institutions of higher learning teaching French to a contest of storytelling is such a huge milestone,” Chapweteka said.

In the French singing grand finale, nine secondary school students that excelled during last Saturday’s regional contests will battle it out.
