The draw for the inaugural Kukoma Invitational Tournament was held at Blantyre Youth Centre on Wednesday ahead of the two-day event set to throw off Saturday at the same venue.
Blantyre and Districts Netball League General Secretary, Annie Hanjahanja, whose body has been entrusted with the running of the four-team competition, confirmed the development.
“Rules and regulations of the tournament have been circulated to all participating teams of Kukoma Diamonds, Tigresses, Serenity and Thunder Queens. We are just waiting for the commencement of the games,” she said.
Tigresses begin their campaign with a tie against Serenity Stars Saturday whereas Thunder Queens will meet Diamonds.
In another game scheduled for tomorrow, Diamonds will lock horns with Serenity Stars.
On Sunday, Tigresses face a daunting task as they will first meet Thunder Queens before dating Diamonds in the last game.
In between the two matches, Thunder will play against Serenity.
