Alleluya Band to spice up Father Kaliu’s DVD launch
Father Augustine Kaliu will this Sunday launch a DVD titled Ndi Mulungu at St. Kizito [Chigoneka] Parish in Lilongwe where Paul Banda and Alleluya Band will be on song.
The DVD with 14 songs is a combination of his first and second albums.
Some of the songs in the DVD include ‘Ndi Mulungu’, ‘Ambuye Aitana’, ‘Tikhale achifundo’, Welcome to Malawi, ‘Mudzandipulumutse’, ‘Titama Inu nokha’ and ‘Chimsonkhano’.
Other artists to grace the launch include Paul Banda, Coss Chiwalo, Paul Subiri and Alleluya Band plus other choirs that include St Patricks, Mtima Woyera, Chilinde, Utatu Woyera Men’s choir, St Padre Pio choir, St Mary’s Nanthomba, Utattu Woyera Nanthomba, and St Kizito Chigoneka Women choir.
The launch will also be spiced up by dancers from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, St Pauls Minor Seminarians and flower girls from from Likuni Parish.
Kaliu is a Catholic priest in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe and was ordained in 2014.
He is serving at St Pauls Minor Seminary at Mlale as a teacher and is master of ceremonies and chaplain for choirs in the Archdiocese.
