Apostle Chitheka returns with ‘Soaked in Worship’

Apostle Enesia Chitheka, who has led Chitheka Family for years, gets back to the stage on August 28 to hold a concert dubbed Soaked in Worship at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.
She described the concert as special in that it offers people a chance to walk with her in worshipping God through gospel music.
“This concert is all about bringing people into the presence of God. Due to the Covid pandemic, the world has had a lot of questions than answers but we, as human beings, fail in a lot of areas and it is only God who can give us the answers and only God can give us hope and peace of the mind and the spirit we need,” Chitheka, said.
She said Soaked in Worship was not just a concert but rather a special concert which will bring people closer to God.
“We need to worship God with all the talents that He gave us and, in this case, we are worshipping God through music. Worship brings God to the scene,” Chitheka said.
She further said, as a minister of the word of God, she would love to see people gaining back their trust in the Lord.
“No more fear. We will pray for our nation Malawi as well as the world as a whole as we sing together. People will not go home the same,” the husky voiced singer said.
The concert will see Chitheka sharing the stage with Sam Mjura Mkandawire, Marlyn Chakwera Chimombo, Esther Chitheka Louis, Kezia Chitheka Louis and Enoch Chitheka.
“There is more for people to experience. I have extended the vocal team and it includes Randol, Dingiswayo and Ruth Mputeni,” she said.
Chitheka has stood out as one of the great worshippers in the country and, backed by Dynamics Band, she said she was ready for the task.
