Apostle Kawinga gives to the needy

Apostle Clifford Kawinga of Salvation for All Ministries has donated 1,000 blankets to needy people at Chididi in Nsanje District.

Apostle Kawinga made the donation during a crusade he organised over the weekend.

He said Salvation for All Ministries understands that it is important for them to look after both physical and spiritual needs of the poor.

“A human being is made of three things; spirit, soul and body. That is why after we preached the word of God, we have brought them food to eat. Jesus Christ did the same that after he preached for a long time and saw that the people were hungry, he fed them all. There are more than the 100 people we had planned but all of them will eat.

“The blankets we have distributed were a need to the people of this area. This is what a ministry is supposed to do. The support we have brought is not enough. Bring whatever you can find and be a blessing to these people too,” he said.

In his sermon, Apostle Kawinga challenged chiefs in the area to love God so that they serve the God’s people well.

Gladys Bonjesi who is also Village Head Mataya hailed the ministry for the gifts.

“This is something I needed and am very thankful to the ministry,” she said.

Few months ago, the ministry also visited Nsanje and Phalombe districts where they donated bags of maize flour to thousands of needy people.
