Artist Driano Msauka out with new album
Blantyre-based musician Driano Msauka has released an album titled Ntchito Zanu.
The musician may not be that popular in the music circles but he is determined to show his talent in the album.
Ntchito Zanu was recorded at OBK Studio by Aubed Chitheka. The album has 10 tracks.
Some of the songs in the album are currently enjoying airplay in some of the local radio station.
“Through this album, I want to preach the word of God. God has done a lot to each one of us, and so it has been my wish to serve the Lord through music,” he said.
Msauka maintained that he was in the gospel music industry not to make up numbers but to minister God’s word and at the same time showcase his talent.
“We were all blessed with different talents and we need to utilise them,” he said.
The artist said the songs in the album have rich and mature messages that seek to bring hope to those who have lost hope and also encourage people to look up to God, for solutions to all their problems.
The artist said he has been performing more in churches and that now with an album to his credit he wants to do more.
Msauka called on people to support him by buying his music.
“These days there is piracy but I call upon people to strive to buy original works. Artists invest a lot to produce their works and so it is better to help them by buying original works,” he said.
The artist recently took a major step in hosting more live acts when he performed in Thyolo.
“This is just the beginning, it is my wish to perform in all the three regions of the country, therefore I ask all Malawians to support me and get blessed with my music, for the message in it, is universal,” he said.
The album has songs such as Toto Sinfuna, Dzina la Yesu and Tidzaimbe Wokoma Yesu.
