Ascent Soccer Academy has partnered America-based global technology consulting firm MTX Group Inc.
The partnership aims at supporting the development of Ascent Soccer as it continues to redefine opportunities for talented male and female players across Malawi.
Ascent Soccer co-founder Adrian Brabury was excited with the partnership.
“MTX is dedicated to impact and offer opportunities to all, and this is just our first step together, of many, in transforming soccer, scholarship, people and our planet,” Bradbury said.
Additionally, the partnership also aims at supporting investment into female youth football and their medium-term plans to develop their own campus.
MXT is also a jersey sponsor of America’s Major League Soccer top side FC Dallas.
The firm has provided 60 co-branded jerseys for Ascent Soccer’s training and match-day needs including Ascent Girls (Under-19) as they prepare to compete in the first-ever Women’s National League this year after finishing second in their debut season in Central Region Women’s League during 2021.
Ascent Soccer recruits gifted male and female players from across Malawi and provides advanced football coaching, private education, character development as well as nutritional and medical care to players.
Since 2018, Ascent has produced two senior internationals and 12 youth internationals for Malawi’s national teams as well as having three players graduate into athlete scholarships in the United States.
