Sambalika said he has decided to release an album to reach out to more people but also tell a story as to what happens in a family that is engulfed with differences.

“I have lots of stories but then I cannot tell them all on stage where we are mostly restricted to time so I thought the best way to reach out to people is to release an album,” he said.

Sambalika also said that he will work on a DVD to be released this year.

“It’s a DVD which will feature whistle stop tours; I will go around different places and hold whistle stop tours. It’s a challenge because I have to dig deeper as regards the finances but I am determined to do it,” he said.

The Thyolo-based mimicker said he is not yet there as far as mimicking is concerned and that he is trying as much to do more so as to remain relevant.

“I can imitate different people but then I thought I should stick to the former president because she is well known. I just want to thank people for their support and sometimes there are people who have come to me and criticised me as well as offer solutions,” he said.

Sambalika has managed to speak fluently like the former president but he needs to be more creative with his set which is dry with only his imitation standing out.
