Autocom applauds business growth

Autocom Japan, a Japanese car exporter, has applauded Malawians for supporting the business and inspiring its growth since the company started operations in 2015.

Autocom Malawi Branch Manager, Limi ton Mhone said the company is now conducting outdoor campaigns to reach out to their potential customers to acquaint them on the process of purchasing vehicles from Japan.

“Malawians have been so supportive and since we are based within the country, there is no fear of illegal dealings as is the case with other firms who do not have representatives within the country.

“This has significantly increased our purchasing power in the 11 months we have been in operation which shows how committed we are to make purchasing of cars very easy,” he said adding Autocom Japan will soon open an office in Mzuzu.

Mhone further said people can always follow up their vehicle’s status through the firm’s website.

The company recently donated assorted items to the eye department of Mzuzu Central Hospital.

Principal Nursing Officer of the Eye Department, Doreen Gausi, thanked Autocom for the donation.

“We receive many patients in this ward who have eye problems and some of them are traumatised. This donation will bring a smile on their faces,” she said.
