Struggling Silver Strikers and Be Forward Wanderers lock horns Saturday in a TNM Super League match at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe.

Both sides have endured a difficult league campaign this season. Silver and Wanderers will be looking to return to winning ways having gone three games without a victory.

The Nomads have claimed one victory in the second round whereas Silver are without a win in four consecutive games.

In the absence of three key players for Nomads, Silver are favourites on paper to win today’s game. However, Wanderers have enough weapons to contain the Bankers.

Nomads will be without captain Richard Chipuwa, defender Stanley Sanudi and midfielder Isaac Kaliati, who are with the Flames participating in the 2015 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup in Ethiopia.

In the first round, Silver beat Wanderers 2-0 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

In an interview on Wednesday, Silver assistant coach, Lovemore Fazili, was brimming with confidence ahead of the clash.

“We are geared for the match. The boys are in shape and we will definitely collect maximum points,” Fazili said.

The Central Bankers have received a big boost following the return of goal poacher,

Green Harawa, who missed four games due to injury.

Despite in-house fighting that has rocked the team, Wanderers assistant team manager, Steve Madeira, said they are aiming for maximum points against Silver and Epac.

“We know that results have not been coming our way in the second round but we are determined to win the games to finish in top six,” Madeira said.

Rafik Mussa, Boston Kabango and Francis Mlimbika have been ruled out of the match due to injuries.

On the part of Silver, Blessings Tembo and Lucky Malata are also out due to the same.

Silver are third on log table with 39 points from 25 games whereas Nomads have 32 points on position seven after playing 22 games.

On Sunday, Nomads will play against unpredictable Epac at Civo Stadium.

In other exciting games this weekend, Fisd Wizards host Dedza Young Soccer at Kamuzu Stadium whereas Airborne Rangers face Mzuni at Chitowe Stadium.
