Be Forward Wanderers eye new signings

TNM Super League leaders Be Forward Wanderers have revealed plans to bolster their squad during the mid-season transfer window which opened on July 31.
Wanderers Chairperson, Gift Mkandawire, said the club would be forced to sign new players because several of their key players are injured.
“We are doing well even in the Super League though we have temporarily stopped scoring for fun in recent games. We are hitting just two goals which is not good enough for a big team like Wanderers. So, we might add some new names to our squad during this transfer window,” Mkandawire said.
Super League of Malawi General Secretary, Williams Banda, said the transfer window would close on August 29.
“We expect clubs to follow all the laid-down procedures in buying and selling players,” he said.
Among the players on the Nomads’ injury list is striker Vincent Nyangulu who has been ruled out for six weeks. Francis Mlimbika is also nursing an injury.
Wanderers have been impressive since assistant Coach, Oscar Kaunda, took charge.
The former Civil Sporting Club assistant is being assisted by the Mpinganjira brothers—Bob and Albert.
