The Nomads host Kamuzu Barracks in the Carlsberg Cup round of- 16 at Kamuzu Stadium on Wednesday.

Against Epac, Nomads featured Richard Chipuwa, who was reportedly not yet fully fit, due to the suspension of Peter Munthali.

The development forced the Nomads to name goalkeepers’ trainer, Vales Kamzere, as a reserve goalkeeper. Bester Phiri was de-registered.

There has been good news though with gangling forward, Ishmael Thindwa, returning to full action after a long spell on the sidelines due to injury.

Harry Nyirenda and Louis Minjale have also joined the team.

In a post-match interview on Saturday, Madeira was concerned with the performance of his team.

“We fear for our jobs now because we are a big club and we need to be winning such games,” he said.
