Tail-enders, Mafco and Salima Police, are struggling and have not registered a victory.

Central Region Beach Soccer chairperson, Leonard Mazombwe, on Tuesday said the tournament would reach the climax with teams battling for the final places.

He said they had lined up activities to spice up the event.

Football Association of Malawi (Fam) sponsors the competition to the tune of K5 million at the national level.

Regional champions will walk away with K70,000, runners-up will pocket K60,000 and K50,000 for third-placed team. The top goal scorer will pocket K10,000.
