Big Bullets cautious on John Lanjesi, MacFarlen Mgwira

Nyasa Big Bullets are cautious on some players ahead of their Confederation of African Football (Caf) Champions League preliminary round match against FC Platinum of Zimbabwe on Saturday.
Bullets would leave Captain John Lanjesi and winger MacFarlen Mgwira out of the squad that is travelling to Bulawayo for the second leg match.
The players have recovered from injuries but Bullets assistant Coach, Peter Mponda, said they would maintain the squad that drew 0-0 with Platinum at Kamuzu Stadium a fortnight ago.
“We are doing our business as usual. Much as FC Platinum lost a league match [to Triangle United] in Bulawayo over the weekend, we are not carried away. On the other hand, it has given us hope that we can do better in Bulawayo by progressing to the next round,” Mponda said.
Meanwhile, Masters Security FC have opted to host Ugandan side Proline FC at Civo Stadium in their Confederation Cup return match on Saturday.
In February 2018, during their Confederation Cup debut, Masters used Bingu National Stadium where they drew 1-1 with Angolan side Petro de Luanda.
Masters General Secretary, Christopher Njeula, said they had engaged with Football Association of Malawi (Fam) to stage their return match at Civo Stadium.
“We proposed to Fam to host Proline FC at Civo not Bingu National Stadium, so our Chairman Mr Alfred Gangata is yet to give us the feedback on the matter. But, for sure, we will play at Civo Stadium,”Njeula said.
Masters lost to Proline 3-0 in Kampala.
