TNM Super League champions, Nyasa Big Bullets, Wednesday took time off to cheer the ill and donate food stuffs at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital’s children’s wards.
Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Fleetwood Haiya, said they decided to cheer the children to encourage them.
“We won the TNM Super League championship and reached the Airtel Top 8 final. We also reached the semi-finals of some cups [Carlsberg and Fisd Challenge]. In view of this, we had to come and cheer sick children. We brought food stuffs such as Kamba and basins and soap,” he said.
Faith Karonga Chisaka, speaking on behalf of other guardians, applauded Bullets for the donation.
“We need such support and Bullets should continue with this kind of support,” she said.
