Nyasa Big Bullets’ Team Manager, Rahim Ishmael, has said they will not embark on special training ahead of their next weekend’s game against Be Forward Wanderers at Kamuzu Stadium.
Rahim said he was aware of the euphoria that surrounds the Blantyre derby, but he insisted that it does not warrant special training.
He added that they were focusing on Saturday’s Fisd Challenge Cup match against Premier Bet Wizards at the giant arena.
“The game against Wanderers is always a difficult, but we cannot isolate it from our game against Wizards this weekend. We do not have to go under the sea to prepare for that game. We just need to get ready in a normal way,” Ishmael said.
Bullets’ John Lanjesi, Bashir Maunde and Ernest Kakhobwe are still on the injury list, a situation which Ishmael downplayed.
Bullets and the Nomads are on position five and nine, respectively, on the TNM Super League log table.
