Big Bullets supporters committee seeks to involve the court in order to effect changes that have been earmarked for the main executive committee.

Bullets supporters have earmarked Sam Chilunga to head the committee with Sadik Malinga reverting to the post of first vice chairman. Austin Kasito would be maintained as the second deputy chairman.

Titha Mandiza is set to be promoted to the post of general secretary.

Business magnate, Noel Lipipa, is set to return as the team’s treasurer and would be deputised by Alex Gondwe.

The People’s Team acting supporters’ chairman, Stone Mwamadi, confirmed the changes but added that they would be implemented when they vacate the court order that restrains the team’s trustees from getting involved in the running of the club.

“We are mandated to fill the vacant posts until annual general assembly. So we have proposed those changes. However, we will implement the changes once we manage to vacate the court order that stopped our trustees from being involved in operations of the team,” he said.

Mwamadi said they were consulting lawyers to tread carefully on the matter to avoid interfering with the court ruling.

“We have just proposed those names and all are eager to serve the team. However, we need to sort out court issues first,” he said.

Bullets have been in administrative crisis that saw former chairman, Kondie Msungama, throwing in the towel following persistent calls.

The team’s general secretary Harold Fote and marketing officer Dan Mbebuwa were sacked only for the court to demand for their reinstatement.
