Big Bullets fans off to Zimbabwe

Over 30 Nyasa Big Bullets supporters are expected to cheer their team in the return match of the Caf Champions League against Zimbabwe’s FC Platinum in Bulawayo Saturday.
The two teams meet at Barbourfields Stadium after settling for a goalless draw in their first meeting in Blantyre some two weeks ago.
Bullets Chief Administrator, Albert Chigoga, said the supporters were due to start off today.
Chigoga said the initiative would help raise their players’ spirits ahead of the game.
“We expect the players to put up a gallant fight knowing that their home fans were there for them. This is a tough encounter and we need our supporters to make noise throughout the match. It is possible to confuse the hosts at their own backyard,” Chigoga said.
Bullets supporters director, Stone Mwamadi, was delighted, saying the team needed support to do well in the away match.
“We are thankful to the club’s management for ensuring that the trip does not fail. Our presence will mean a lot to the players and we believe they will do well,” Mwamadi said.
Bullets players and the technical team left the country for Zimbabwe on Wednesday by road.
