The reigning TNM Super League champions, Nyasa Big Bullets, will today donate assorted items to patients at Zomba Central Hospital as a token of appreciation to their supporters.

The donation has been made possible courtesy of the mobile network provider, TNM.

The 2015 Carlsberg Cup runners-up did the same last year when they visited people of Phalombe after winning the League and the Carlsberg Cup in 2014.

Bullets chairman Sam Chi lunga conf i rmed the development, saying the initiative is the brainchild of the Super League sponsors, TNM.

The People’s Team, apart from receiving prize money for winning the league, they will be given extra money for charity work Chilunga said Bullets have received about K2 million to buy assorted items.

“Let me first of all thank TNM for the initiative, sometimes it is good to remember our friends who are suffering in hospitals, prisons and those who need our help. If you recall last year the team went to Phalombe to visit those who were affected by floods. This time around we will be in Zomba for a similar exercise,” he said.

“As TNM we give the winning team these items to donate where ever they want and we believe that the team that has won the title has the following from various corners of this country,” he said.
