Nyasa Big Bullets Coach, Rodgers Yasin, has urged his charges to win the rest of the games if they are to stand any chance of claiming the TNM Super League title.
Yasin, speaking after Bullets’ 1-0 win over hosts Mzuni FC on Sunday, said the league was not in their hands, adding that they were praying for leaders, Be Forward Wanderers, to stumble.
“We have planned that we have to win the rest of the games and see where we will end up at the end of the season. Of course, the league may not be in our hands, but winning against Mzuni was the key. And after hearing about Wanderers’ win, we must be on the right track,” he said.
Nelson Kangunje scored the precious goal for Bullets at Mzuzu Stadium, a minute after Isaac Kaliyati had also netted for the league leaders in their 1-0 win over Azam Tigers at Chilomoni Stadium in Blantyre.
Mzuni made Bullets sweat for the victory after Chiukepo Msowoya’s first-half spot-kick was saved by his younger brother, Happy, in Mzuni’s goal.
Bullets will wrap up their season with Dwangwa United, Azam Tigers, Silver Strikers, Mafco FC and Masters Security Services FC.
Silver has outstanding games against Bullets, Civil, Kamuzu Barracks, Mzuni, Mafco whereas Wanderers wind up the season with games against Mzuni, Civil, Masters Security, Dwangwa and Red Lions.
