Big Bullets unfazed by injuries

Nyasa Big Bullets say they are not worried with the absence of some key players, who sustained injuries recently.

Bullets Team Manager, Rahim Ishmael, said this ahead of the Fisd Challenge Cup match against Premier Bet Wizards this Saturday at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

Ishmael said defender, Bashiri Maunde, and goalkeeper, Ernest Kakhobwe, were nursing injuries, hence unavailable for Saturday’s game.

“But we also have players who are capable of filling the shoes and do the job in the absence of the injured players,” Ishmael said.

He noted that Wizards were a strong side that cannot be taken for granted.

He said he was also wary of cup games as they have a tendency of being unpredictable.

“Cup games are always crucial and we are playing a team with a winning-mentality. They recently won two consecutive games. The fact that this cup’s games are on a knockout basis make them unpredictable,” he said.

Bullets are currently on position five on the TNM Super League table.
