Big Bullets want Mike Mkwate back

Nyasa Big Bullets have opened talks with South Africa GladAfrica Championship side Polokwane City to re-sign talented midfielder Mike Mkwate whether on loan or permanent move.
Mkwate joined Polokwane in a three-year-deal from Bullets last year but the former Wizard FC maestro has been lacking game time at the Limpopo side.
Bullets Chief Executive Officer Suzgo Nyirenda said they approached Polokwane over Mkwate’s possible return to the People’s Team, having been monitoring his situation.
“Our discussions are based on whether to get the player on loan for the rest of the season or outright buying. In next few days, we will have the direction,” Nyirenda said.
Football pundit Frank Chakanga advised Mkwate to tread carefully on his possible return to Bullets.
“The suggestion for Bullets deciding to take him back may be looked at two angles. How much is he getting at Polokwane as compared to what Bullets was offering him then?
“If Polokwane is paying more, then he better stay there, bearing in mind that footballing is a short term career, hence he can make some investment out of a higher package from Polokwane,” Chakanga said.
Polokwane signed three Malawians namely Mkwate, Chembezi Dennis and Khuda Muyaba.
Muyaba enjoyed game time last season as he was a contender for the golden boot award.
Last month, Polokwane City released Flames defender Dennis.
