Big Four netball bonanza shelved
By Mphatso Malidadi:
Ministry of Health has postponed the Big Four HIV Self Test Netball Bonanza which it wanted to host this weekend at Blantyre Youth Centre.
The bonanza has been postponed due to logistical issues, the ministry’s spokesperson, Joshua Malango, has confirmed.
Malango said following the postponement, the tournament might take place next month or in February 2019.
“Basically, the minister responsible [Atupele Muluzi] is engaged in another equally important assignment and we would like him to grace the occasion as well.
“Therefore, we felt it wise to shift it to a later date so that all major stakeholders should be available for the bonanza,” he said.

Blantyre and Districts Netball Committee General Secretary, Annie Hanjahanja, confirmed the development.
“Netball can be used as an awareness tool and we will be ready for the event,” she said.
Hanjahanja also appealed to other well-wishers to sponsor a bonanza involving developing netball sides.
The bonanza will attract Kukoma Diamonds, Tigresses, Thunder Queens and Prison Sisters.
