Founder of Faith of God Ministries International Bishop Geoffrey Matoga has published his second book titled The Dream Leader – Eight Qualifications of High Quality Leadership with Biblical Perspective.

The book will be launched on Wednesday which also happens to be Bishop Matoga’s birthday at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre.

Having talked about the power of success in his debut book in which he targeted the youth, Bishop Matoga, said he decided to talk about leadership in consideration of the crisis of leadership in the world and in Africa.

With the country set to go to the polls to elect a new leader after the Constitutional court nullified the May 21 2019 Presidential election following massive irregularities among others, Bishop Matoga, said his publishing a book talking about leadership was just a coincidence.

“It is not that I was targeting what is happening in the country, I have been working on this book for some time and writing this book was in consideration of the crisis of leadership in Africa and whole world,” he said.

Bishop Matoga said in writing the book, he was guided by the wisdom of Moses on the subjects of leadership from his advice to the children of Israel on the issue of selecting a leader or king.

In the 176 page book, Matoga has looked deeper at leadership in different chapters.

“For instance, in chapter one I am looking at a Godly leader followed by a patriotic leader in another chapter then transformational leader, visionary leader, servant leader and humble leader,” he said.

In book, Matoga also looks at succession – conscious leader and then ends with a conclusion which cements what he has highlighted in the chapters to talk about a good leader.

“In Malawi I have followed everything from the time of one-party state to multiparty. We moved out of one-party regime to multiparty so as to improve things and that time we thought the problem was the system but leadership is crucial and this is why I decided to talk about it,” he said.

Matoga said after the launch, he would make sure that the book is available including online.
