Blandie hits fifth single

Promising artist Blandie, real name Blandina Madonzola, has made a steady step in her music career as she has now released her fifth single titled ‘Day Ones’.

Blandie said the single is based on a true story.

The budding artist ventured into music in 2013 debuting with ‘Ma Hope’.

She said her latest single is based on the idea that behind every successful person there is a story.

“There is always someone or people who did their best to help that person and this is what I am looking at in this song,” Blandie said.

She said she is looking forward to becoming a motivational artist, who is there to speak for the voiceless and motivate people out there.

“There are some songs people lose interest but I want, through my songs, to inspire people,” Blandie said.

Despite releasing five songs, the youthful artist said she has no plans for now to drop an album.

“First of all, I should say that I have to be ready for an album; otherwise, for now, I am concentrating on singles to build a name,” she said.

The artist has already made strides as she plans to feature Guntolah in her next song.
