As Blantyre soccer power houses, Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers, gear up for Saturday’s TNM Super League showdown, the Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has urged both teams to sensitise their players and supporters on the importance of the fairplay.

Sulom general secretary, Williams Banda, made the plea on Tuesday when he was disclosing that gate charges for the Blantyre derby have been pegged at K1, 000 for open terraces.

Banda added that after consulting the teams, they further resolved to put the game at K2,000 for MBC Stand, K3,000 and K5,000 for covered and VIP stands respectively.

“What we want is a peaceful Blantyre derby. As Sulom, we are now working on security with all stakeholders. I am sure we will have tight security during and after the match. The charges remain the same as was the case in the first round,” Banda said.

Bullets lead the league table on 38 points from 16 games, while their rivals Wanderers have slipped on the standings from position six to seven 26 points from 16 games. In the first round, Wanderers lost 2-1 in the first round.
