Guest of honour at the induction dinner, Mayor of the City of Blantyre Councillor Noel Chalamanda, commended the club for its service to the community.

“How inspiring it is to me and many that our generation can come together to conspire to do that which is noble: service to humanity. There remains potential in our country to do so much. It is upon us to take responsibility to turn the potential into reality,” he said.
