Blantyre Toastmasters Club will tomorrow host the national club officer training and national public speaking contest at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre where all three clubs in the country, namely Blantyre, Eloquent and Lilongwe, will participate.
The winners will compete at the regional level in South Africa in October 2016.
In a related development Toastmaster, Levie Nkunika, a marketer, has been inducted as the new Club President for Blantyre Toastmasters.
His tenure will run from September, 2016 to August, 2017.
Nkunika has expressed gratitude to the members for choosing him and assured them of servant leadership driven by measurable results.
Clarence Gama, who is Nico Technologies Chief Executive Officer and immediate past president and current Director for Malawi, presided over the induction.
