High-flying Blue Eagles have expressed concern over fixture congestion in the TNM Super League.
The Area 30-based sideface struggling Masters Security FC at Nankhaka Wednesday before travelling to Blantyre to play two crucial matches in the Super League over the weekend.
Eagles will not have enough time to rest before travelling to Blantyre for a clash against Ntopwa FC at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday and 24 hour later against leaders Nyasa Big Bullets at the same venue.
Eagles Chairperson, Alexander Ngwala said changes must be made to the fixtures to level the playing field.
“It is very unfair and it not good for the players to play three games in four days. We suspect it is a deliberate move to disturb our form. We are title contenders so we should also be treated the same as fellow contenders, Bullets and Wanderers,” he said.
Bullets and Wanderers, who exited the Fisd Challenge Cup, have one game each this weekend despite that they would be trailing Eagles by two games on Saturday.
Eagles are in unstoppable form this season and are third on the log table with 47 points from 25 games, five points behind Bullets who have played 24 games.
Super League of Malawi General Secretary, Williams Banda was yet to respond to a message as went to press.
His deputy Zachalira Nyirenda was also unavailable for comment Monday.
