Blue Eagles’ Foster Biton to fill Khuda Muyaba void

FISD Challenge Cup Kings, Blue Eagles, have admitted that it would be hard to keep top striker, Foster Biton, before the start of the season.
Bitoni was one of the revelation in the just ended season having scored vital goals but he has been identified as ideal replacement for Khuda Muyaba at Silver Strikers.
In an interview, Eagles chairperson, Alexander Ngwala confirmed that Silver have shown strong interest to sign the player despite just appointing new coach from Zambia.
“The chances are high that he is going to Silver and we are discussing with them. For now, it seems the player has already made his mind to join Silver so we cannot stop him,” Ngwala said.
Biton could not be reached Monday.
The Eagles have already lost another striker Schumacher Kuwali who joined UD Songo of Mozambique after an impressive performance in all competitions.
But Eagles technical director, Christopher Sibale refused to press a panic button.
“We do not block players because we believe there are many good players in Malawi. We will find replacements and we might surprise people,” Sibale said.
Upfront, Eagles have John Malidadi Junior, Maxwell Salambula, Kingsley Kuwali and Dennis Nandolo.
In 2017, Silver also poached striker Mphatso Philemon after a brilliant performance with the Police outfit. The Area-30 based club had a successful season in 2019 after winning the Fisd Challenge Cup and the Bingu Ikhome Bonanza.
They also finished on position three in the TNM Super League after finishing on position 11 in 2018.
