After suffering a 1-2 loss to Red Lions on Saturday, Blue Eagles FC say their 2-0 win against Premier Bet Wizards the following day has inspired them to fight more.
The team’s General Manager, Gabriel Chirwa, said their target remains the championship of the TNM Super League.
“Anything can happen in football. Meanwhile, we have managed to move to position three with 39 points. So, our target remains intact and the game against Wizards has helped us not to give up early,” Chirwa said.
Chirwa has, however, admitted that the technical panel needs to work on the defence which looks porous, hence conceding two goals against Red Lions at Zomba Community Ground.
“We use every game as a lesson for the next game,” he added.
