With two games to wind up the season, Eagles are on position 11 with 34 points on the log table, one point below eighth-placed Azam Tigers, who have one game to finish the season.
Eagles need maximum points when they host relegation-threatened Red Lions at Nankhaka Stadium on Saturday, before travelling to face Karonga United.
The Area 30 side can also get relegated if they lose both games.
But Eagles Team Manager, Wilson Chidati, said they still hope to finish in the top-eight band.
“We have faith in the players and we will do everything possible to collect points. We know that they are tough matches but we have happy faces in the squad,” Chidati said.
Eagles have been inconsistent towards the end of the season, as they exited the Fisd Challenge Cup when they lost 3-2 to Moyale Barracks at home just a week after losing 2-0 to rookies TN Stars in the Super League at the same venue.
In a post-match interview after losing to Moyale, Eagles Coach, Deklerk Msakakuona, admitted that they were going through a bad patch.
“It is just a matter of time before we bounce back,’’ Msakakuona said.
