“If Olympic Games were to be held last year, according to IJF website at that time Harriet would have qualified by continental quota but things changed because of the effects of Covid-19,” said Judo Association of Malawi (Judo) General Secretary Osbourne Banda.

Banda added that Boniface reached a pinnacle of her Judo career when she became 90th on the World ranking and fifth in Africa.
