Central Zone Basketball League (Cezobal) giants, Bravehearts have bolstered their squad by signing two Zimbabwean players.
Bravehearts patron, Griffin Kalua, confirmed the signing of former Harare City Hornets player, Wishes Kakomo, and Tinotenda Nhira, formerly of Foxes.
“The two players have come to study in Malawi, so we offered them a chance to play for our team and they accepted,” Kalua said.
Basketball Union of Zimbabwe (BUZ) has cleared the two players.
“Bravehearts Basketball Club has given both players full college scholarship in addition to the club allowances as set by the club,” reads part of the letter from BUZ President, Addison Chiware.
Kakomo on Tuesday promised to display good basketball.
“Basketball in Zimbabwe is advanced compared to Malawi. I promise I will help the team to fight for the league championship,” he said.

In the ladies’ category, Lady Dynamites top the standings with 27 points from 14 games whereas Bravehearts Ladies and Angels are on second and third positions with 25 points and 19 points, respectively.
