Barely a week after he featured on the BBC and an American Instagram following the release of his track titled ‘Apapa’ which advocates for inclusivity, musician Bucci is out with another song ‘Wofo’ (Soft Life).

The ‘Panado’ star, who has reformed his musical direction by focusing more on persons with disability, particularly the deaf, has described ‘Wofo’ as a continuation of his initiative of using music to tackle issues affecting society in order to bring about change.

“‘Wofo’ is more of a personal experience with friends, understanding what comes with adulthood. Some of these friends are now fathers, mothers and most of them are looking for jobs, using top class devices and engaging in all sorts of things to make it in life,” Bucci said.

He said as a musician who is now known worldwide, he is looking deeper in the space and becoming aware of the surrounding.

“I am trying to give support to the coming generation and the now generation…we have to be more responsible for our lives and the plans we make for our future. I am trying to keep the youth awake and understand what power they hold,” Bucci said.

He said he was happy with the response he has received since he dropped the track Tuesday.

The song has been produced by Pro Pee and Tricky Beatz with adlibs by Blasto.

“I love the responses from people and even fellow artists. These songs are coming from an album but I will not pre-empt more for now,” Bucci said.

The musician, who has partnered Tikonze Apapa which is focusing more on the merging of language and music to bring awareness to the inequalities that affect deaf people in the country, called upon young people to be steady and be part of the conversation in order to bring about change.
